i agree i was watching Schindlers List the other night, shocking to know he was true to life. on a different note i see your madolin minutes are creeping up. well done.
Thank you, Maureen. I've been fairly faithful on Ohio Star -- but we also had banjo club last night which gave me two additional hours :) It's a fun club, though the music isn't the same style of my daily practicing.
true....can be depressing to hear the news sometimes,,it still goes on...and depressing to hear some ordinary people life histories....most violence still occurs within the bosom of the family!
Yes... why we do what we do... and then? it's someone else's fault. And sometimes, it is, too. We're not far away from our barbaric natures, are we?
Oooohhh...How about a contest on WT where the winner can have a Banjo Club CD????
You going to get to play a solo on the CD?
Riiiight, Mary!

In honor of yesterday's Remembrance Day and U.S. Veterans Day, here's a photo of Struthof, a WWII concentration camp we visited Aug. 30 -- the same day we visited the site of the Anabaptist Oak. An extremely moving day in two different ways...
Each of the flat areas in this overview photo was the site of one "dormitory." Here in this most beautiful scenic area, once the site of a ski resort, a concentration camp was built. The site was chosen for its remote location. Hideous. What humans do to other humans -- and why???
