Very nice pic!
Yes, lovely picture. And what in the world is a dog coat? I thought dogs had fur for the rain. A dog coat? Really????
What a cutie. And such gorgeous hair. (I think I'm on a hair thing. This is not the first blog on which I've noticed the hair this week.)
Yes, Mary, they sell dog coats. Do you not get Lands End???
The Jillybean herself had her very first hair trim a couple of weeks ago -- her mother says it was two inches removed. We don't see it, though. Sigh. Me... I still remember HATING my mother combing the tangles out of my own long hair before braiding it in the morning. So, of course, I spared my daughters -- only to have them let my granddaughters hair grow. (Beautifully, I might add).

I remember having to get up earlier than everyone to get my hair combed, but I don't remember hating it. Mom must have been more gentle with me. Probably loved me more too.
I'm SURE she loved you more. Plus, by then there probably was something called cream rinse.
I love your pix of the grandkids!
now now sisters!!! That old sibling rivalry for mother love is showing!!
When is it children go from joyful modelling for pics, to screams of ...Take that camera away mother!!!!!!!!
she is sweet...

Susan, What a beaultiful little girl!!!!!!!!!!
They are fun -- thank you all. Ross, I don't know -- will it be their teenage years? Our oldest granddaughter is almost there. She, too, has always been a charmer... maybe it will hold? (But I'm not counting on it!)
I'm always amazed at your mandolin minutes...and your awesome steps each day!!! I don't know how you find time in your day to do all of these things! Great photo...fun outfit, too!
Beth, I'm not teaching.
I know...but I'm still impressed...and probably a bit jealous, too! :)
wot a CUTIE!
Thank you, David!
Your Jilly Bean is a cutie. I spent this evening with my "baby" Kay, although she is an elderly 6 she humors me and is still my baby. Your steps are great!

The wet prairie grass had deeper color -- beautiful against the mist with the bare trees as a backdrop. Naturally, I hadn't brought the camera.
Here's the last of the series by my DD2 for her Christmas photos: Jill herself -- better known as Jillybean.
