Great photo whatever it is, Susan.
I love this picture.
Nice stepping and pretty picture.
These trail walks have certainly pushed your step count up,
wish we could find some trail walks, because now its good walking weather for us,
beautiful pix

Beautiful pic.
Thank you, all -- I might use this one for note cards.
Maureen, I've always enjoyed the trail, but with the addition of the across-the-creek leg it's much less monotonous to get extra steps. Drawback is the newer trail isn't "walked down" well yet and is harder on my feet.

Susan well the more you walk the new trail, the kinder to your feet it will be, maybe some heavy hiking boots would do the trick,
I bought some new boots, which promptly gave me blisters! Well, Kaye told me to wear two pairs of socks, which I've begun doing... but the feet are still tender :)
Susan when you go walking again apply petroleum jelly to your feet, stops the friction which causes the blisters, it works
I'll try that, too!
I like the pic. I did plant some native bittersweet this fall. It is in a place that I don't care if it takes over. I love decorating with it in the fall. I opens like a bittersweet but the cover and the berry are both orange. Let us know if anyone figures out what that is. Would it be a nice cutting twig to decorate with.
The weather has been beautiful latey, hasn't it? I don't know what this is, but it is a nice photo.
Thank you, Mary -- let me know if you see any your way.
I will!
I'm so glad Sallie loves to walk with you all the time! Good luck with the blisters...sorry about that!
It's beautiful, whatever it is!!

Here's a photo of -- well, I don't know. I thought maybe it was in the bittersweet family, but apparently, both the native and the oriental bittersweets are vines -- and this was on a shrub. Plus the fruit "shell" here is bright pink rather orange. So... I don't know. Marty?? Anyone? (I don't recall noticing the flower)
