Gorgeous photo! Good news on your test. How far are you away from St. Louis?
Like the pic!
Sorry you have to go back for a CT, but glad to hear the bone density test shows normal range for the deterioration. Good stepping partner!

interesting comment on slower walking (pace?)on the path than on treadmill or street walk. why is that?
forgot to mention I had blood tests kast thursday...
Glad the test was OK. You predicted your steps would be down but you are still doing great. The trail may be fewer steps but it must be beautiful. CA has been dry this year but it started raining the end of last week and the vacant lot across from dd's house is full of water and frogs. We were sung to sleep by them last night.
You Lehman sisters don't need any more steps...you need rest =) JK'ing you Susan! Great steps today, your trail walking sounds lovely. I might have to do mall walking tomorrow as I've heard it's going to snow...either that or find where I stashed my coat last spring.
Thank you -- I really do enjoy walking on the trail.
David, yes I meant the pace. It's slower because it's rough, especially the newer section which equals about 2/3 of the total. It's the mowed edge of a field, and I haven't gotten it "walked down" yet. On the up side, it gives my legs more of a work-out! You had blood tests??
Snowing again in Utah! Typically, we don't get snow until after Thanksgiving, though one never knows...

Susan good news at least you are still normal. lol
:)
It is reassuring, isn't it, Maureen? Now... if we all just understood what, exactly, does "normal" mean????

i have never found that out Susan i also was bordering on normal.
Hello there my dearest friend!
That's good news to hear about your Bone Density test(???).
Good to know there's no Osteoarthritis, thank God.
Some "deterioration" Susan, would that be from the medication? All the walking you do must be helping you though.
I can walk much faster on the treadmill than out on the street, because I have to keep up to the speed I set on the treadmill.
I'm slower walking through rough terrain though, because here its really stoney and easy to fall over. (eg.Punta Prima/Mar Azul @Vista Mmm!).
EXCELLENT STEPS Susan!!

Good news!!!! YEAH!!!
Lovely picture!!!!!Good luck on the CT.
No snow in the valleys yet (just rain) Susan, but it is snowing in the mountains. We might still get some later though...it's only 37 degrees! My sister in Ohio says it's been in the 70's. I wish!
70s here, too!
It is 73 here
Yes, we've had mid-70's for a couple of days now in Ohio. Another one tomorrow, too! I can just imagine your goldenrod glowing near the sunset! Beautiful! I'm sorry to read you have to go back for your CT, but glad you had good news otherwise!

Sallie and I did a full circuit upon my return -- takes me about an hour and 20 minutes to get 10-11,000 steps on the trail (trail walking is slower than, say, treadmill walking or street walking). Rest of my steps are around the house. Hope to get a few more before bed -- now that the Lehman Sisters are a team in one of @PoconoGreg 's comeptitions!
The flood plain is full of this autumn goldenrod, and the lowering sun makes them glow beautifully.
