18-3 over the Braves! That is almost boring!!!
Sorry to say, it was, true. As we had a 2.5 hour drive home, and as it was already 10 p.m -- we left after the eighth inning.
Who needs kleenex when you have a long tongue?
Glad you enjoyed the start of your weekend!
tell me about the trip: itinerary?, how long? visiting which relatives?? internet access??
Leaving Monday for overnight to Frankfurt, then Koln; Alzey, Germany; Bad Friedrichshall; Offenburg; Bern, Switzerland, (worship in Langnau congregation, the oldest continuous Mennonite church); Brunnen, Switzerland; Wasserburg, German; Alzey, Germany. Lots of tours in between. Home late Sept 7 (assuming the last flight from Chicago to Peoria is not cancelled).
sounds great!
I put on a pic for you today

We are looking forward to it, Rosie, that's for sure! On my life list!
Susan--You must see my picture on Aug. 22, too!
I saw yours, Beth -- it's why I had to post, too! Mary's and mine were taken the same day, even if we were on different wagons. I hadn't noticed the tongue-in-the-nose until Mary did.
I hadn't noticed the tongue until I looked at the picture. Oh to have a long tongue to take care of the sniffles.
Ohhh.... I think I'd prefer a kleenex!
Yikes! What a tongue--and look at those horns! It's quite a cow.
Your trip sounds wonderful. Hope you will be able to post along the way and send some pictures.

Cardinals won, 18-3, over the Atlanta Braves. As ever, people watching was interesting.
This px is for @Mary (check her 8/20 blog)
