i don't suppose the cold and the dampness do your chest any good,so home is the best place, and a lot warmer, i generally walk around the house when weather is not good for walking outside. hope your feeling lots better to-day
Thanks my darling. I'm feeling OK, just tight in the chest, I think it's asthma, not a cold. But sunny forecast tomorrow, so will go to gym - hooray !
Hope you are feeling better!
Many of us have become permanent absentee voters because we don't want to stand in line...that way we vote when we want and then drop off the ballot at the registrar of voters early or cut to the front of the line to drop off on election day (I don't trust mailing my ballot). That's why the results aren't yet final on some of the propositions...they are still counting absentee ballots.

I have felt very humbled by the US election, seeing those long lines of people, waiting for hours to vote. Like all other Brits, I have always been able to walk straight in and collect my voting slip. Yet despite the ease of voting, at each UK election the turnout drops. It's a wonderful day for America, and for the whole world.
