Certainly gives us something to cheer about!!!! Watch out World, the Brits are coming to get you!!!!
I made bread today too! Nothing better than some nice bread fresh out of the oven.
Hey don't forget about your computer. Maybe you can set up a guest account on your computer where they can do their email without getting into yours. Just a thought.
Thanks for your concern, bb. He works in computers and will be bringing his own laptop. They can both use our wifi and also the upstairs PC. We got fed up with people accessing our Outlook Express account (very rude, but it's done in ignorance - imagine L's surprise to log on the his account and find an email apparently from himself, discussing and describing our house to complete strangers !) We've password protected it now and asked people only to use web based email, and asked them if they understand what this means.
When we returned from Alaska we found hundreds of photographs downloaded onto it, and some very odd software, which was slowing it down. I would never download anything on to someone's else's computer ! Our son Tim soon sorts it our for us, and people don't mean any harm, they just don't understand, but unfortunately, they think they do !
I usually put my lovely iMac and iBook away under the stairs, unless exchangers are mac users, so we always return to a good computer.

I remembered you commenting on the last exchangers using your computer. That's why I posted the friendly reminder. I think you are correct in that the exchangers used your Outlook Express in ignorance. But still, to me it's a "Well duh" thing not to do.

This afternoon up to Apple Store again and back for refund on a lead that was wrong.
While our our Aussie visitors were on their way here, Britain won three more gold medals, but they were magnanimous about it. The Aussies are pretty sore - they are so used to beating us. And then the lovely Christine O won her race as well. Makes up for the dismal weather, anyway
